Description: Seeking a capable and motivated high school or college student who is in touch with the world of geekdom, particularly as a fan of fantasy and science fiction literature, for a summer internship as a personal assistant in the writing world. 

Location: Anywhere, as long as you have internet access 

Responsibilities 

  • Creative approach to author outreach and readership growth

Who you’ll be working with 
Garrett Calcaterra is the author of five books, spanning the genres of fantasy, science fiction, steampunk, and horror. He is represented by Kimberley Cameron & Associates, and is currently working on a new novel that is a mashup of fantasy, steampunk, and lost world dinosaur action. Calcaterra was a writing instructor for over a dozen years at both the high school and university level, and he is an advocate for diversity and equity in the publishing world and fandom as a whole.
